God is well pleased

We have to understand what God say’s about us, not what we think about ourselves. Just think about that for a while, ‘What Gods say’s about us.’

This what God said about Jesus after he was baptised, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Jesus had not begun His ministry yet, had not overcome the temptations of the devil. He had not performed any miracles of

Yet God said this about Him after Jesus was baptised. Just imagine if everyone who was baptised heard the audible voice of God saying “You are my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.”

Would that take away all doubt in your mind that you are righteous enough to enter into the presence of God? This is what we are declaring to all who are present at our baptism, We are sons of God.

We should know and believe this, God is well pleased when we are baptised! Just because you do not hear the voice of God say it, does not make it any the less true.

God is always well pleased when we follow His Son Jesus’ example. Jesus said, “Do the things that I did and greater things than these.” when we do the things that Jesus did, God is well pleased. God can be and is pleased with us who believe in Jesus His Son. Upon the announcing the birth of Jesus the angels said this;

Glory to God in the highest, And peace on earth among men with whom He is pleased Luke 2:14

'Among men with whom He is pleased'

Are you not sure if God is pleased with you?

God is pleased when you accept Jesus as your savior.

God is pleased when you got baptised.

God is pleased to give you the holy spirit.

God is pleased that you love Him

God is pleased to give grace to you even though you could not earn it.

God is pleased When you talk to Him.

God is pleased when you worship Him.

God is pleased when you show His love towards people.

God is pleased when you speak about His Love to other people.

God is pleased you give Him glory

I could go on and on, But you see that God is pleased. If you add all these and more things together You could easily say that God is, well pleased, with us.

It is all a matter of perspective. You can believe that you will never be worthy, or you can believe that Jesus has made you worthy.

You can believe that God will never accept you unless you do this and that. Beat yourself down and grovel in sackcloth and ashes. Or you can stand up with Jesus because you have the righteousness of God placed inside you through faith.

God says that we can come into His presence with boldness. We cannot teach children these things unless we know and believe them for ourselves.
